YOUR JOB IN A NUTSHELL

As a Senior UX Designer, you delight users with designs that inspire, engage, and excite. You will research and benchmark easy to use and engaging UIs, create consistent wireframes and prototypes to communicate ideas and concepts. You will collaborate with stakeholders, service designers, visual designers, and engineers, in defining not only information and UI architectures, but also future successful business and services. As a senior UX designer you get to be involved at every stage of the project lifecycle from creating the concept and leading the interaction design to ensuring your designs work with technical solutions. As a senior designer you will have an independent role in client projects and we count on your confidence to advice clients based on your experience. You will manage clients and design team throughout the design process, create personas, user journeys and storyboards to support research and sense-making, and mentor and support younger team members.

You apply a holistic approach in understanding design strategies, translate them into design solutions, and ensure consistent quality up to the finest details of the design. You actively lead design workshops, brainstorming sessions and communicate your ideas and design solutions through detailed design documentation.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN AN IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Key tasks and responsibilities:
  • Lead client engagement with support from design leaders
  • Engage in internal and external UX Design discipline lectures, seminars, and workshops
  • Great expert knowledge and practice of UX / Interaction methods and tools
  • Experience utilizing creative design research methodologies, including qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Leading and facilitation of client workshops
  • Strong communication and presentation of your designs and solutions
  • Client facing / Consultant work:
  • Build a strong and great mindset of customer-centric design for organizations
  • Understand the importance of seeing the big picture and minimalist design
  • Find metrics to follow to guarantee the best service performance
  • Define digital strategies that align business, customer, and associate needs
  • Identify and act on opportunities within projects
  • Analyze and respond to client briefs in a timely manner
  • Effectively prioritize and deliver to deadlines
  • Act as a lead change agent for customer projects
  • Design Skills and Expertise:
  • Relevant work experience in the UX design discipline for a minimum of 7+ years
  • Education in User Experience and Visual Design
  • Great industry experience and a stellar design portfolio showcasing UX design expertise
  • Excellent workshop planning, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Solid experience leading clients and teams user research, user interviews, and user testing
  • Collaborative work style with flexibility and positivity
  • Great communication skills and personal time management
  • Mastery of iterative/lo-fidelity and high fidelity prototyping
  • Empathetic nature and eagerness to embrace new technologies and new design methodologies
